Sotam studied arts from 2016 to 2018 in António Arroio Art School (in Lisbon), where they learned a variety of artistic expression techniques, from molding with clay to capturing moments and feelings with a camera.

In 2018, they began their HND course in photography, in ETIC_.

In 2022, they expanded their knowledge taking a 1-year course in Graphics Design, in the Lisbon School of Design.
